Halo Infinite Tech Preview
Xbox and PC gamers can now download the Halo Infinite Tech Preview. This is a special build of Halo Infinite that allows players to test out some of the upcoming features of the game. There are some requirements that you need to meet before you can download the Halo Infinite Tech Preview.
What is Halo Infinite?
Halo Infinite is an upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. Announced at E3 2018, it is the sixth main entry of the Halo series and the first Halo game for Xbox Series X and Windows 10.
How to Get the Halo Infinite Tech Preview
Halo Infinite’s E3 2019 demo gave us our first look at the game running on Xbox One X hardware. The build was running in 4K at 60fps with Most of the post-processing effects like bloom, screen-space reflections, and dynamic shadows enabled. It looked great, and we now know that the final game will support 120fps on Xbox Series X.
The Halo Infinite E3 2019 demo is now available to download and play on Xbox One and PC. The Halo Infinite tech preview serves as a small slice of the game that is currently in development and will give you a taste of what’s to come in the future. As this is an early work-in-progress build, please keep in mind that some elements may change or be added/removed as we continue development on Halo Infinite.
To get started, you will need to download and install the Halo Insider Hub app on your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC. Once installed, launch the app and sign up for the Halo Insider program. Once you have registered for the program, you will need to opt-in for the Halo Infinite Tech Preview by going to Insider content > Halo: The Master Chief Collection > Select Your Platform > Opt-in For Beta Tests & Programs > Tick The Box For The Halo Infinite Beta/Preview And Then Hit Confirm button.
Once you have registered for the program and opted-in for the beta, you will be able to download and install the Halo Infinite Tech Preview client on your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC. Please note that this is a large file so it may take some time to download depending on your internet connection speed.
Once installed, launch the Halo Insider Hub app on your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC and sign in with your Microsoft account. From there, go to Insider content > Halo: The Master Chief Collection > Select Your Platform > Play Test Invites & Schedule > And then select Download Build from the list of available builds.
Once downloaded, launch the Halo: The Master Chief Collection application from your Xbox One’s home screen or Windows 10 Start menu. Select Install For All Users if prompted during installation process. From there, select settings cog icon located in top right corner > general settings > Allow Development Content ON/OFF toggle switch to ON position if it’s not already turned ON and then restart your console/PC. After restarting your console/PC, launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection application once again and select Play option from main menu to start playing Halo Infinite E3 2019 Demo!

The Halo Infinite Tech Preview is currently available to Xbox Insiders and Windows 10 PC gamers with compatible hardware. Here’s what you need to know about the system requirements for the Halo Infinite Tech Preview.

Downloading the Halo Infinite Tech Preview
The Halo Infinite Tech Preview is available to download now for anyone who wants to try it out. To download the Halo Infinite Tech Preview, you’ll need to be a Halo Insiders member. Once you’ve signed up and logged in, you’ll be able to access the download from the Halo Insider Hub.
Step One
The first step is to ensure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements for the Halo Infinite Tech Preview. You can find these listed below:

Memory: 8GB RAM

If your system meets or exceeds the minimum specifications, you will be able to continue with the next steps. If not, you will need to upgrade your system before proceeding.
Step Two
The second and final step is to actually start the download. To do this, go back to the Xbox Insider Hub app and select “Insider content.” From there, you should see “Halo Infinite Tech Preview” as an option. Select that, and then select the “Download” button. Finally, select the “Confirm” button, and the download will begin. And that’s it! The Halo Infinite Tech Preview is now downloading.
Step Three
In order to get the Halo Infinite Tech Preview, you’ll need to head to the Xbox Store and search for Halo Infinite. Once there, select the game from the list of results and hit “Get.” This will take you to a new screen with information about the game. Once you scroll down, you should see an option to download the Halo Infinite Tech Preview. select this option and hit “Confirm.”
Playing the Halo Infinite Tech Preview
The Halo Infinite Tech Preview is finally here! If you’re a Halo fan, you’ve probably been eagerly awaiting this moment. In this Halo Infinite Tech Preview guide, we’ll show you how to download and install the game on your PC. We’ll also go over the minimum and recommended system requirements so you can make sure your PC can run the game.
Singleplayer
Halo Infinite’s campaign is a return to form for the franchise, with the player once again taking control of the Master Chief. The demo began with the Chief awakening from his cryogenic sleep, and being informed by Cortana that they had arrived at Zeta Halo. The Chief then made his way to the exterior of the ship, and fought through a number of Covenant forces in order to reach a teleport Pad. Once he arrived at his destination, the Chief was attacked by a new enemy, known as the Banished. After fighting his way through more Banished forces, and destroying a shield generator, the Chief arrived at his final destination: a massive structure known as “The Ark”.
The graphics in Halo Infinite are incredible, and definitely on par with other next-gen games. The textures are incredibly detailed, and the lighting is amazing. The environment itself is also huge, and there are definitely areas where you can explore and find secrets. The sound design is also top-notch, with all of the guns sounding extremely powerful. Overall, Halo Infinite is shaping up to be an incredible game, and I can’t wait to see more of it.
Multiplayer
Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is set to launch alongside the game in Holiday 2020, so there’s not much to say about it yet. However, we do know that the game will include a 4v4 multiplayer mode called “Infinite Slayer” which was playable in the tech preview. In this mode, players battle it out in teams of four to see who can rack up the most kills. There are also rumors of a 16-player battle royale mode called “Halo: Infinity Royale” which is said to be in development for Halo Infinite, but this has not been confirmed by 343 Industries.
