The Veterinary Technician National Exam
The Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) is a computer-based exam administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB). The VTNE is used to assess the competency of veterinary technicians/technicians (VTs/TAs) seeking credentialing in the united states
The VTNE consists of 170 multiple-choice questions that cover the following content areas:

To become a certified veterinary technician, you must first complete a rigorous educational program at an accredited college or university. Each state has different requirements for certification, so it is important to check with your state’s Veterinary Board to make sure you are meeting all the necessary requirements. Once you have successfully completed the educational program and passed the state exam, you will be a certified veterinary technician and will be able to find employment at a variety of animal care facilities.
