-A Tech Deck

-A flat surface
Ollie
The ollie is the most basic skateboard trick, but it’s also one of the most important. It opens up the possibility of all sorts of other tricks, and once you get it down, it looks really cool. Here’s how to do it:
1. Place your front foot on the center of the board and your back foot on the tail.
2. Bend your knees and push down with your front foot to pop the tail off the ground.
3. As the tail comes up, USE YOUR BACK FOOT TO JUMP OFF THE TAIL!
4. While in mid-air, use your front foot to smack the nose of the board and send it back down to the ground.
5.As you come down, slide your back foot up to meet your front foot and land with both feet on the board in a balanced stance.
Nollie
To do a nollie, put your front foot on the center of the deck and lean the deck forward so that your weight is shifted onto your front foot. Then jump off of your back foot while you push off with your front foot, keeping the pressure even as you go up. As you land, keep your legs slightly bent and be sure to land on both feet at the same time.
Pop Shuvit
The Pop Shuvit is a classic move on the Tech Deck. To do a Pop Shuvit, start by placing your deck on the ground. Place your back foot on the tail of the deck and your front foot near the center of the deck. Next, use your back foot to pop the deck into the air and use your front foot to shove the deck forward. As you shove the deck, twist your wrist so that the deck rotates. The deck should rotate 360 degrees before landing on the ground.
Kickflip
The kickflip is one of the most popular skateboarding tricks and looks great when done on a Tech Deck. Here’s how to do it:
1. Put your front foot on the center of the deck.
2. Put your back foot on the tail and curl your toes over the edge.
3. Pull the deck up with your front hand and flick it with your back hand.
4. As the deck starts to flip, jump up and land on it with both feet.
Heelflip
The heelflip is a skateboarding trick where the skater uses their back foot to flip the board 360 degrees. The front foot is then used to catch the board and land back on the ground.
There are two main ways to perform a heelflip. The first is called a “pop heelflip” and is performed by popping the board off of the ground with your back foot and then using your front foot to catch the board and land it back on the ground. The second method is called a “slide heelflip” and is performed by sliding your back foot across the top of the board, flipping it with your heel, and then using your front foot to catch the board and land it back on the ground.
The key to performing a successful heelflip is to get a good pop off of the ground and to make sure that you don’t slide your front foot too early or too late when catching the board. practice makes perfect!
Wrap Around
A good beginner move is the wrap around. You can do this by holding the Tech Deck in your weak hand and placing your strong hand on top of the deck, making sure your fingers are hanging over the edge of the deck. Next, you want to slightly lift up the deck with your strong hand while using your weak hand to push the deck forward. As you are pushing the deck forward, continue to lift up with your strong hand until the deck wraps around and pops up into yourstrong hand.
Slappy
The Slappy is a move in which the rider slaps the deck on the ground, causing it to spin around. This trick is performed by placing the front trucks on the ground and using the back trucks to slap the deck on the ground. The Slappy can be performed with either hand and is a great way to get the deck spinning.
