Introduction
Lesbians Who Tech is a global organization with a mission to connect, support, and empower lesbians in the tech community.
The group was founded in 2010 by Leanne Pittsford, and has since grown to include over 40,000 members in 50 chapters around the world. Each year, the organization hosts a large conference in San Francisco that brings together tech professionals for networking, career development, and skill-sharing.
This year’s conference will be held from February 13-15 at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. The event will feature over 100 speakers across a variety of panels and workshops.
History of the Conference
Lesbians Who Tech is a global organization with 40,000 members that aims to connect, support, and educate queer women in tech. The organization was founded in 2012 by Leanne Pittsford.
The first ever Lesbians Who Tech Summit was held in San Francisco in 2013 and drew a crowd of over 700 people. Since then, the yearly conference has grown exponentially, and now boasts an attendance of over 4,000 people from all over the world.
The 2020 Lesbians Who Tech Summit will be held from March 3-5 in San Francisco.
The Conference Today
The Lesbians Who Tech 2020 Conference is currently underway and it is the biggest tech conference of the year. This year’s conference is being held virtually due to the pandemic. The conference is a three-day event and it started on October 1st.
