Duke and texas tech will face each other for the first time in the 2019 season. The game is set to take place on February 26th at 8:00 PM. This will be the Blue Devils’ first game against the Red Raiders since November 2015, when Duke won 66-31.
Duke vs. Texas Tech: Previous Meetings
Duke and Texas Tech will meet for the first time since 2006 on Tuesday night in the United Center. The Blue Devils own a 5-2 lead in the all-time series, but the Red Raiders have won two of the last three games.
The last meeting between the two programs was on December 19, 2006, when then No. 11 Duke defeated Texas Tech, 77-67, in Durham. The Blue Devils were led by J.J. Redick’s 21 points, while then freshman Ty Lawson had 12 points and six assists off the bench.
Duke won the only meeting between the two teams in Chicago, a 74-69 victory on December 2, 1978, in what was Mike Krzyzewski’s second season at Duke.
