vet tech week is a time to celebrate and recognize the valuable contributions of veterinary technicians to the animal health profession. This year, it will be held October 17-23.
Vet Tech Week was established by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) in 1982. It is now celebrated annually by vets and vet techs across the country.
During Vet Tech Week, vet techs are recognized for their dedication to animal care and their commitment to promoting the human-animal bond. This weeklong celebration includes various events and activities, such as continuing education seminars, open houses, and career fairs.
