It’s been a while since Ga Tech beat UGA, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen again. With a strong team and a good game plan, the Yellow Jackets could pull off an upset.

A Rivalry That Goes Back

The georgia tech yellow jackets and the University of Georgia Bulldogs have been verified as one of the oldest rivalries in college football. The two teams first played each other in 1893 and have played each other every year since 1906. For a while, it seemed like Tech had UGA’s number as they won 14 games in a row from 1928 to 1941. UGA finally broke through with a win in 1942 but then proceeded to lose 14 games in a row from 1946 to 1959. In total, Ga Tech has 71 wins while UGA has 43 wins with 5 ties between the two schools.

The Last Time Ga Tech Won

It’s been a while since Ga Tech won against UGA. In fact, the last time Ga Tech won was in 2016. That game was particularly special because it was also the last time that UGA lost a game in the regular season.

Reasons For Hope This Year

This year, there are several reasons for Ga Tech fans to be optimistic about their team’s chances of beating UGA. First, the Jackets have a new head coach in Geoff Collins, who is known for his innovative and aggressive style of play. Second, the team has a senior quarterback in Tobias Oliver, who is a dual-threat and has the ability to make plays with his arm and legs. Finally, the defense is loaded with talent and should be one of the best in the ACC. With all of this talent and coaching, Ga Tech has a real chance to end its losing streak against UGA and bring home a victory.

How To Pull Off The Upset

As a general rule, any team can beat any other team on any given day. This is especially true in college football where the talent level between teams can vary greatly. That’s why upsets happen and why they’re so much fun to watch.

But if you’re a fan of an underdog team, you don’t just want to see your team win, you want to see them win in convincing fashion. You want to see them pull off the upset.

So how does an underdog pull off the upset? Here are a few keys:

1) Believe that you can win: This seems like it would be a no-brainer, but it’s not always easy for a team to do. If a team goes into the game thinking they have no chance, they probably won’t. The key is for the players and coaches to really believe that they can compete and win the game.

2) Play with confidence: Once a team believes they can win, they need to go out and play with confidence. This means not being afraid to make mistakes and not letting the other team dictate the pace of the game. The underdog needs to dictate terms and impose their will on the favorite.

3) Make big plays: In order for an underdog to pull off the upset, they need to make big plays at key moments in the game. This could be a long touchdown pass, a big defensive stop, or a special teams play that changes momentum. Whatever it is, the underdog needs to seize the moment and make sure it counts.

4) execute: This is probably the most important key of all. Even if a team does all of the above, if they don’t execute when it matters most, they won’t win. They need to make sure their game plan is executed flawlessly and that there are no mental errors or costly penalties at crucial times in the game.
