Who is Sister Cindy?
Cynthia “Cindy” Dollman is a Catholic Sister of Notre Dame de Namur who has spent the last four years serving as campus minister at texas tech university in Lubbock, Texas. A native of San Antonio, she has also served as a high school teacher and principal, and as a spiritual director for several years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and watching sports.
What does she do at Texas Tech?
Sister Cindy is a Catholic nun who has been part of the texas tech community for over 20 years. She is the school’s chaplain and can be found leading students in prayer and providing spiritual guidance. Sister Cindy also helps out with campus ministries, including the Newman Center, a Catholic student organization. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Harry.
Sister Cindy’s Ministry
For the last five years, Sister Cindy Hasenbalg has been ministering to the students, faculty and staff at Texas Tech University. She is the Catholic Campus Minister and Director of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Student Center. Sister Cindy is a sister of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, a religious community of women who dedicate their lives to prayer and service.

We are a community of faith that worships together, prays together, learns together, and serves others together. In Her Own Words
Cindy Lou Who is a Catholic sister who has been serving the Texas Tech community for over 20 years. She is a part of the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls, Minnesota. In her time at Texas Tech, Sister Cindy has been a teacher, a chaplain, and is currently the Director of the Catholic Center.
What is Sister Cindy’s favorite part about her job?
“I think the best part is just being able to be a part of the lives of so many different people,” Sister Cindy said. “I love hearing about what’s going on in their lives and being able to offer them a listening ear and some words of wisdom.”
What is her advice to students?
Sister Cindy’s advice to students is simple: “Pray, and don’t worry.” She knows that college can be a stressful time, but she believes that if you prayer and put your trust in God, everything will work out in the end.
