Oscar Robertson (Loyola) and Mark Aguirre (DePaul) were two of college basketball’s all-time greats. But on this day, it was Robertson who stole the show. The 6-foot-5 guard from Indianapolis scored 33 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out eight assists to lead the Ramblers to a 96-93 victory over the Yellow Jackets in the NCAA tournament’s West Regional final at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.
