The Game
It was a close game, but Duke ultimately won 79-72. This was a very important game for both teams because it was a chance to prove themselves early on in the season. Duke started out strong and took an early lead, but Texas Tech fought back and made it a close game. In the end, Duke’s experience and execution were too much for Texas Tech and they were able to come away with the win.

On Monday night, Duke and Texas Tech met in the National Championship game. It was a close game, with Duke leading for most of the first half and Texas Tech taking the lead in the second half. However, Duke came back and won by a score of 68-67.
