Duke shot just 33 percent from the field in the first half, while Texas Tech shot 40 percent. The Red Raiders also held a slight edge on the glass, outrebounding Duke 20-18 in the first half.

Texas Tech was down by 11 at the half, but they came out firing in the second half. Duke struggled to score, and Texas Tech took advantage. The Red Raiders went on a 15-2 run to take the lead, and they never looked back. Duke couldn’t buy a basket, and Texas Tech ran away with the game.
The final score was Duke 66, Texas Tech 71.
