Inside the Lab
From the entrance, take the left path and enter the room to find a Guardian Scout. Defeat it, then open the door with the blue eye symbol to proceed. In the following room, take out the Guardian Turret ahead, then drop down the hole in the floor on the left. You’ll find a treasure chest containing 5 Bomb Arrows.
What to expect
In order to get to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, you’ll need to first acquire the Ancient Gear. Once you have the gear, travel to East Akkala and look for a large, ruined building in the middle of a lake. This is the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.
There are a few things to be aware of before entering the lab. First, the ancient gear is quite loud and will attract the attention of nearby enemies. Secondly, the lab is guarded by numerous traps and Guardians. These traps can be disabled by using Magnesis on the large metal plates scattered around the lab, but the Guardians will still attack if they see you.
Once you’ve made your way past the traps and Guardians, you’ll find yourself in a large room with a central platform. This platform contains a manuscript that will teach you how to use the ancient gear. Read it carefully, as it’s essential for using the gear correctly. With the manuscript in hand, return to the entrance of the lab and activate the ancient gear to open a door leading deeper into the lab.
