When it comes to coaching, there are a lot of different opinions out there. Some people think that coaching is all about X’s and O’s, while others believe that it’s more about motivation and getting the most out of your players. There are a lot of great coaches in the world, but there are also a lot of terrible ones. So, who is coaching Texas Tech in the bowl game?
As of right now, it appears that Texas Tech will be coached by interim head coach Mike Leach. Leach is considered to be one of the best offensive minds in all of college football, and he has been responsible for some of the most explosive offenses in recent memory. He was also the head coach at Texas Tech from 2000-2009, so he knows the program well.
The other coach that has been mentioned as a possibility for the Texas tech job is former Florida head coach Will Muschamp. Muschamp is considered to be one of the best defensive coaches in all of college football, and he did a great job at Florida before he was let go earlier this year.
At this point, it’s unclear who will be coaching Texas Tech in the bowl game, but both Leach and Muschamp would be great choices.
Texas Tech defensive coordinator David Gibbs will coach the team in the Birmingham Bowl against South Florida on December 23, 2017. This will be the first time Gibbs has served as a head coach.
