Duke won the game
The Duke Blue Devils won the game against the texas tech Red Raiders with a score of 66-31. This was a massive victory for Duke, as they were able to keep texas tech scoreless in the second half of the game. This is an incredible feat, as texas tech is known for their strong defense. Duke’s victory shows that they are a force to be reckoned with in the NCAA tournament.
Texas Tech lost the game
Texas Tech lost the game against Duke with a score of 71-69.
Duke was the better team
Duke was the better team and deserved to win the game. Texas Tech’s defense was good, but Duke’s offense was better. Duke shot 45.8% from the field and had four players score in double figures. Texas Tech shot 42.6% from the field and only had three players score in double figures. Duke also outrebounded Texas Tech 36-30. This was a well-played game by both teams, but Duke was just the better team.
Texas Tech needs to work on their defense
Texas Tech fans were left disappointed after their team’s narrow loss to Duke in the national championship game. The Red Raiders gave up too many points in the second half, and their lack of defense was ultimately their undoing. Duke was able to take advantage of Texas Tech’s poor defense and win the game by a score of 71-69.
