Weather
Most people think of Georgia as a hot, humid state with very little variation in temperature, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! The weather in Atlanta is actually quite mild, with four distinct seasons. In the fall, the leaves change color and there is a perfect crispness in the air. Winter brings cool temperatures and the occasional snowfall, while spring is warmer and filled with blossoming flowers. And summer is HOT, but it’s a dry heat so it’s not too bad.

The Campus Recreation Center is Georgia Tech’s state-of-the-art fitness facility, offering cardio and weight training equipment, a swimming pool, courts for basketball, racquetball, and volleyball, a climbing wall, and much more. The Campus Recreation Center is available to all Georgia Tech students and faculty members with a valid BuzzCard.

-The Panhellenic Association (PHA) is the governing body for Georgia Tech’s sororities. PHA promotes sisterhood, leadership, and service within the sorority community.
-The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official student government at Georgia Tech. SGA works to represent students’ interests and needs to the administration.
-The Council of advisors for clubs &Organizations(CACO) is a student-run organization that provides support and resources for clubs and organizations on campus. CACO helps clubs with everything from event planning to funding.
-The Georgia Tech Center for Leadership Development offers leadership development programs for all students. The Center provides resources, workshops, and events to help students become effective leaders on campus and in the community.
